No, we are a “back to basics” campsite where you can come to get away from it all.
We have solar showers (hot water heated by the sun). You can borrow a solar shower from us with a small security deposit.
Yes, we have chemical toilets on site.
Yes we have a shop and a cafe on site – selling camping basics, some things to make your stay a bit easier, some things you may have forgotten and some toys and games for the kids in your life (whatever age!). Please ask us about opening times and menu for the cafe.
We would love to have your 4 legged friends come and stay. We ask that well behaved dogs are kept on your pitch (this may mean that you need to keep them on a lead) and that you clean up any mess they make.
We have a range of activities available (charged separately) including Archery, double bit axe throwing and hatchet throwing. Please ask us about bookings and costs.
We are located about 5 miles from Bishop Auckland (home of Kynren) and about 3 miles from West Auckland (where the nearest supermarkets and a good local pub can be found). Please ask a member of the farm team for directions (walking or driving).
We are a family friendly site. We encourage everyone to come here and have a good time. All we ask is that you respect the other campers (no loud music after 10pm). Other than that, we are happy to accept non-related groups on site.
